EBC make some great pads and rotors
I've had great experiences with EBC Yellowstuff pads in prior vehicles. Super aggressive bite, will chew through rotors though so take that as it is. I like the current setup on my 23 Turbo, went oem front rotors and some Duralast Golds. Rear are DFC rotors and their 5000 series ceramics. Stops pretty nice, liking the feel but I also changed brake fluid at brake change, that may have helped.
I have ebc yellowstuff. Brembo rotors. Massive upgrade.
I just daily my 17 GTI. The stock pads and rotors finally gave up at 103k miles. I was perfectly happy with the oem brakes, but not spending $700. I went Zimmerman and Texstar pads. So far no complaints, they feel like the stock brakes when they were new.
Using red stuff on stock rotors. I like them, but I haven’t been staring at my wheels to get them super clean, so I’d agree with others that it’s NOT MORE dust than oem.
Ebc yellow stuff. I have a QV and these have been recommended on various forums. Have performed great for me.
EBC yellow stuff pads if you actually want to stop.
I’ve had these EBC blue stuff brake pads for 6k miles (2 track days) and they fronts are almost down to the metal. I expect them to go quick but this was a lot quicker than I had thought
I ate through EBC blues and had terrible brake fade. Zero fade on G-loc R8 lap after lap standing on the brakes at 130 on the back straight at midOhio
Have these on a 2020 Stinger GT should be the same......
# EBC Brakes USR7794 & USR7795
