I had oem pads then changed to ebc yellow stuff pads, huge a world of difference and I can’t recommend it enough but avoid the grooved disks from ebc as you get mad vibration sounds under heavy braking

Pros: huge a world of difference
Cons: vibration sounds under braking
Vehicle: Skoda Octavia

EBC Brake pads

Get OE blank rotors, a set of your preferred pads and some good high temp brake fluid. (I really like EBC yellow stuff for daily, autocross, and light track stuff.) Unless you're really going hard on the track, there's not a real need for slotted or drilled. Even when I did hard track stuff I still just rocked the blank rotors most of the time. They still held up well and were cheaper to replace too.

Pros: good performance, cheap

These are amazing pads - really big upgrade in stopping power. And as others mentioned, it’s per pair. So one of each. Tdotperformance is reliable, I use it specifically for pads and rotors for not just my vt but other cars I have worked on. Great service and vehicle confirmation.

The yellow stuff pads are also Canadian winter friend. They have similar biting power to the reds but better for cold bite. Only downfall with the yellows is brake dust is fairly high. My wheels get very dirty. High maintenance for cleanliness.

Pros: big stopping power upgrade, good cold bite
Cons: high brake dust, high maintenance

I have EBC slotted rotors and the green pads. Way better than stock. Will probably go with red when these wear down cause they claim to produce less dust.

Pros: better than stock, less dust

EBC Brake pads

I run EBC yellows on a heavy car (Kia Stinger GT) and they do ok. The problem with TNiA events (especially the novice group), there's usually A LOT of traffic, and no one is pushing the limit into braking zones.

Pros: ok for novice events
Cons: not for advanced use
Vehicle: Kia
