I have had a set of OEM (centric i think) pads for a while, they have lasted well thru many mountain runs (no track days)....I am in need to new front rotors/pads, so upgrading to a slotted front and EBC yellows, going to leave the rears alone for now and see how it drives with the fronts upgraded

Pros: lasted well

I recently replaced my 18 GTI SE front pads with EBC Red stuffs. My only regret is not doing it day one. Great performance and 90% less dust.

Pros: great performance, less dust

I went with ECS's slotted rotors for both the front and rear, and EBC Redstuff pads all around. With new fluid, they've been great across the board. Less dust than the OEM pads in my experience, less fade, better performance all around

Pros: less fade, better performance
Cons: minor squeal when hot

I’ve used EBC HH pads on front and rear for years they’re awesome for street. I would never get organic ever again, tried them once and as expected they have very soft bite but most importantly they wore out completely in a couple months, waste of money

Pros: awesome for street use
Cons: organic pads wear quickly

They'll absolutely be ok to use for the street. In fact, most supersports come with oem HH sintered pads.

They may wear a little quicker, but you'll get better stopping power and you should certainly feel a difference.

I recently changed the pads on my 600RR to the EBC HH sintered pads and I'm really happy with how they feel.

Pros: better stopping power, good feel
Cons: wear quicker

The inability to easily modulate light braking is the main reason I swapped in some EBC Redstuff pads. Very linear and better ultimate braking. You couldn't pay me to go back to the stock pads.

Pros: very linear, better braking

I switched to EBC redstuff ceramic from my OEM pads on my MX-5. They are marketed as slightly higher performance than OEM with much improved wear and dust levels. In my experience they are maybe slightly more grabby initially, otherwise they perform similarly to OEM, but their claims about dust levels were not true at all in my case, they dusted FAR more than OEM. I get noticeable dust after a few days compared to maybe a few weeks before.

Pros: slightly more grabby
Cons: dusts far more than OEM

We had really bad luck with EBC yellows, had a pad seperate from the backing plate, then the next set warped after one track day. Never again.

Cons: pad seperate, warped
