I’ve used that combo on every car I’ve done brakes on and have had no issues. Great stopping power, very quiet, low dust.
I replaced the pads only to reduce brake dust (Centric Posi-Quiet).
Install these. You will be glad you did....reduces brake dust by 90%. No difference in performance. I am 15K miles into mine and love these pads.
K12GT checking in. It’s the smoothest bike I’ve ever ridden. I wish the brakes weren’t made of wood but, I’m used to “quirks” of BMW’s now, after 200K on 1150 (RT & GS-A)
I have the Centric Posi-Quiet on our Atlas - the most dust-free pad I've ever used but of course that comes at the price of not being able to handle heat.
Centric ceramic brake pads.
I’m a big fan of Centric rotors and pads. To me they’re in the category of OEM+ and they’re still affordable.
The pads are very smooth but tend to creak at very low speed (like <2 mph) and they're very grabby when wet. 20k miles and they're maybe halfway worn down despite a lot of city driving and some very hard braking on a couple of mountain roads.
Just did the rear brakes on my wife’s subaru, the dealership was back ordered on the OEM pads and had centric ceramics.
Hey there, maybe you can help me out with the embarrassingly loud brakes on my g80 m3 (does not have the $8k carbon brakes package).
I bought it new and since day 1, the brakes have squealed incredibly bad. Not bad like "this is performance brakes so you have to tolerate it because you bought a sports car," which is what BMW has told me 50 times now. But awful, ear piercing, screeching every single time I brake. I took the shop foreman on a ride who agreed it was the worst he's ever heard.
