Brake pads Brembo or OEM Subaru
Brembo are decent in all honesty ive had them on all my cars bar 1. My nismo comes with them as standard so i just keep em on. They do a damn good job at stopping,
If got the brembo pads and discs on for about 2 months now. They are good enough for the daily driving. Brake dust still a bitch
I just snagged some brembo pads rotors from fcp and saved myself almost 50% compared to dealer pricing AT MY COST, and the brembos are also an upgrade. Oh did I mention they have lifetime warranty?
if you're after brands of parts, the go to ones are Brembo, EBC, Pagid, ATE, Bosch, and TRW.
I recently bought brembo pads and rotors for my 330 e46 , got a great deal on them
I've been using Brembo pads for more than 300km after bedding. The package is super tidy. It came with an installation manual. The pad looks beautifully made. The materials feel nice. The Brembo is way more smoother than the OEM (Textar). Textar is more harsh, especially in traffic. I swapped the pads with Brembo and the problem of stopping smoothly went away instantly. It creates way less dust than Textar.
That would be Eicher disks and Brembo pads.
I'm in the UK and just got a good deal on Brembo disks and pads which I think are pretty good. Definitely avoid own brand stuff from parts stores. The Honda disks and pads are really good but a lot more than the Brembos cost. I also got a remanufactured genuine Nissin caliper which was remanufactured by Bendix for less than 1/3 cost of a new one.
I haven't had AEB slam on the brakes going forward but have had distance reminders. When my bike is on rack backing up will set off the system.
my local Subaru dealership listed my brake pads as needing replacement soon when they were literally brand new. That was because their system simply saw that I had 40,000 miles and had no record of the replacement. Nobody had actually examined my car to see if it needed brake pads.
