I am using those. Very quiet and low dust.
I went 87k on oe brakes.
I think akebono's are worth it for street/canyon although heavy so there are better options if your actually racing
125K on a 2018. Factory pads and rotors. All even wear and still far from the squealer tabs.
2021 with 87k miles. I'll probably need to change the pads in the next 15k-20k miles.
I’ve got a 2018 Crosstrek Limited that I bought new in 2017. 96000 miles later and I still have the original brakes. Never been worked on. Dealership says they’ve got a decent amount of meat left on them
Still on the first set, 68k.
I've NEVER been able to keep the brakes as good as a Subaru. Even Buick and Chevrolet dealer brake jobs were no better than me doing it myself, but Subaru seems to be great so far. So far, I'm very impressed, and the brakes ALONE are a reason I have become a Subaru convert.
maybe not the place but anyone have an idea as to why my newly replaced pads and rotors squeak? I got akebono ceramics paired with durago coated rotors and they stop like crazy, barely dust but they SQUEALLLLL when braking lightly and only lightly.
the pads are noisy and clunk … probably wouldn’t buy them again, kinda frustrating because I’ve read great reviews about them.
