Brake pads Akebono or ATE

ATE Brake pads

Am avut textar, trw, trw ceramic, ate normal și ate ceramic. Dintre toate am fost cel mai mulțumit de ate ceramic. Praf aproape inexistent, frânare bună, preț decent

Pros: frânare bună, preț decent
Cons: praf aproape inexistent

Rating 5.0

Slotted and drilled are nice, I own 3 9-3 Aeros v6 and is very hard do stop them, Akebono brakes and Slotted/drilled rotors are cost/effective for me. I definitely recommend it.

Pros: cost effective
Vehicle: Saab

ATE Brake pads

Brakes feel fine when driving, but after they cool and I go out again, the pedal feels spongey. A few hard stabs and it returns to normal, until I come in and let it cool. No fade while driving, and pads survived despite having been on the car for over 2 years of road use, although they need replacing now really.

Pros: good braking while driving
Cons: spongey pedal when cool
Part number: TYP 200

Akebono Brake pads

I bought these Akebono brake pads (model AN-813KG) while in Japan. The store salesman assured me they would fit the rear brakes of my 2011 Lexus IS 350. However, when I tried to research online, I could only find information linking this model to the Toyota Sienta (2017). Before returning to my home country, I need to decide whether to keep them or return them.

Cons: incorrect fitment
Vehicle: Lexus IS
Part number: AN-813KG
