Brake discs Zimmermann or POWER STOP

Zimmerman rotors and OEM pads. Less brake dust, and no squeaking

Zimmerman rotors are top notch.

I use Zimmerman rotors on my XC60 and her BMW. Excellent bang for buck in my opinion. Don’t like brembo pads for the dust, use Akebono on BMW, Alebono or Volvo pads on Volvo for dust control.

Zimmermann from FCP Euro hav been great on my N55 F10.

I bought powerstop drilled and slotted rotors from rock auto back in 2022. 3 years later they weren't even halfway through the pads. I paid $685 for carbon ceramic pads + rotors and accessories. Yes, slightly more dust but I didn't notice any significant wear on the rotors.

check out the Zimmermann set from FCP. Much smoother, and almost no brake dust. And I believe they cover a full replacement under their warranty program.

According to the newsletter today, Rock Auto has added Zimmerman to their catalog. They have some for Phaetons if yours has the smaller front rotors.

I used Zimmermann replacements discs and pads on my B9 RS4 for 5 years/70k miles. Had 3 sets all around over that time. The front discs and calipers are the same as the etron. They were good products and hard to tell the difference from OEM.

Zimmerman are a good brand, but beware, the brake dust is seriously next level with them.

I put cheap rotors in the front. They suck and made braking unpredictable and dangerous, especially from 150kmh plus. I bought Zimmermanns a week later and the problem completely vanished.
