Zimmerman makes solid rotors and Akebono pads are awesome, plus they last forever. I think the only thing you could improve on is a bit of extra stopping power if you went back to the oem pad material, which is likely not ceramic like the Akebonos. However, you'll lose those clean wheels and the pads will likely wear out much faster. I never felt that they lacked adequate stopping power anyway. Brake feel is much more linear compared to the super grabby stock pads, and I actually prefer it now that I'm used to it.

Pros: solid rotors

I went with the FCP euro replacement kit, the zimmerman rotors have been fine (another 35k on them), the texar pads work fine, but dust more than OEM

Pros: rotors have been fine
Cons: pads dust more
Mileage: 35000 km

Eventually it was deemed that the brake discs had become faulty, giving a vibration on braking and there was high speed vibration caused by unbalanced tyres. Front discs replaced, braking vibration gone.

Pros: braking vibration gone
Cons: brake discs faulty

Our rear rotors are garbage. The front seem fine but i can see rust marks for where my pads rest when i park it for the weekend. Im researching our incredibly limited options on rear rotors at the moment.

Cons: rear rotors are garbage
