Brake discs Zimmermann or Centric

I've run Zimmerman rotors with EBC red stuff ceramic pads. No complaints.

I have Zimmerman rotors with Textar pads on my 19 alltrack. I’m actually looking at these for my Tiguan too!

I put centric coated rotors and Akebono pads on my 2016 and have not had pulsing in 40k.

Zimmerman are pretty decent got a pair on mine

I always use centric semi e-coated rotors (everything is e-coated except for the rotor face). I never had issues with them on any car.

You can get 4 for the price of one Subaru branded one on rockauto, and that includes known brands like Bosch and Brembo. I personally have used Centric rotors on everything I have owned for a decade now and they do the job just fine.

I've used Zimmerman rotors with Akebono pads... Less brake dust. I've used TRW in the past and way too much brake dust for my liking.

Been running Zimmerman for over a decade, never had an issue.

Centric makes ones that are painted black. I clean them up with brake cleaner and tape off the pad contact area, then use engine enamel spray paint to add an additional coat. I’m up in New England and one winter will do this to rotors. I do the same when I have to replace calipers. Lasts at least 3-4 years In my experience

I do not recommend Zimmermann, while they work ok for a lot of people, i had a lot of problems with the rotors.
