Brake discs POWER STOP or EBC
I’ve had them on my truck for about 20k miles. No complaints. Although I noticed no difference over the oem stuff.
I put those on my truck last summer, and they've been great. The kit had all the hardware needed and everything fit perfectly. They have a little more grab than the OEM pads I replaced, but overall drive on the highway/city like the OEM. After an icy winter with plenty of salt there's no corrosion on the rotors at all. I usually buy geomet coated rotors so the Zinc ones were new to me. Overall very satisfied and would buy again.
I got those about 6k miles ago good set no worse than stock so far and they do feel better no warping despite larger tires and a heavy foot.
They are awesome / power stop is the brand I’ve used before and always get rotors-pads-new fluid if vehicle is old enough - make sure you do a proper break in for the pads and rotors or they will squeal soon
I’ve purchased plenty of rtors and pads from RockAuto and they are fabulous. Additionally, i notice your picture is of Powerstop rotors and pads. I’ve bought Powerstop for several of my cars. The drilled and slotted rotors are A-MAZ-ZING. I highly recommend them, as they warp way, way less than other rotors. It’s incredible how much heat they can take.
Having said that, the Powerstop pads are another story. They are built for *racing*. This means an unusual break-in method and they don’t ‘grip’ as hard until they get really hot (like they would if you were road-racing/rally-crossing your car). This means that your braking won’t be as good under normal, everyday conditions that 99% of us do. I experienced this on a 2006 Honda Odyssey, a 2010 Jeep Wrangler 4-door, and a 2005 Subaru Outback. This is not a defect in the pad. They are designed this way because they are a racing pad.
I’ve since just bought ‘normal’ pads and they work great.
I bought what a guy had left from a returns pallet he bought from rock auto. I have a 2011 335i. He had front/rear pads/rotors plus wear sensors. I paid $25. Only stuff i couldn't use and had to buy myself were front pads and the wear sensors, as they weren't compatible. They're PowerStop's Z23 carbon series pads/rotors. I have zero complaints.
I have and all I've actually had good experiences with the powerstop brand as long as you get the higher grade coated rotors
I just did a few hours ago for my 1990 Corolla.
Got some power stop ones with geomet rotors for like 95 after shipping...
I have these on my crv, had them for a few years and they are still going. Bit warped though, time for new rotors soon
Parts quality has gone straight to hell since the start of the pandemic. Especially brake rotors. I'm tired of looking like a jackass to customers when stuff from trusted brands fails in a couple weeks. The only consistently decent rotors I'm finding are, of all the places, freaking Power Stop coated rotors from Rock Auto. I Never have trouble with those.
