Brake discs Brembo or OEM Toyota

He's worked hard with brembo this year to get a set up he likes and they said they made a breakthrough and that's clear in the performance.

J'ai mis des disques brembo Xtra (haute teneur en carbone). Alors oui quand tu tapes un 200 -> 100 c'est super efficace, mieux que l'origine. Mais pour du freinage classique je sens aucune diff.

FYI. I used ODB11 to unlock the rear and you will need a brake caliper tool to compress and turn them in. DO NOT JUST COMPRESS THEM. While you are in there. Clean up around your sway bar links and other bushings. I like lubing them up a little just because why not while you are there.

Why not go brembo 18z you’ll have to buy rotors anyways. Then you just need pads, lines and some hardware. No special brackets for the front. I did the swap on my mk6 golf and love it

For example my Golf Alltrack needs front brakes, so I bought Golf R front calipers, which are bigger, and then drilled Brembo rotors, and ceramic OEM pads.

OEM pads and rotors lasted 150k miles so I went with them again. $389 for everything. Perfect fit, finish and feel.

I don't notice a difference between my T drives and OEM 2022 GSXR 1000 brembo rotors honestly. Can definitely tell the difference with fresh fluid, new pads, and a new master though.

Brembo will wear out faster than Bosch, so you know.
