I put in a Varta CP1254 A3, same form factor, similar enough specs.
UPDATE: I put in the bigger battery, it's great. The Cp1254 A4 gets me 1-2 hours extra use over the A3 and I believe even the original Z55H.
I just replaced my xm3 batteries (they are cp1254a3 with 60mah) and I replaced it with the newer version (cp1254a4 with 74mah). No issues and more capacity.
Yep. Varta is a good battery. My battery died this year in March. I replaced it and paid 800 for a Varta battery for my dodge charger. So far so good!
Varta battery refused to die even after 5years mannn that’s a wow ..to add on I don’t use my car often i use fireblade as my daily commute for the last two years..
My XM3s went from a good 6 hour run time down to 2.5 hours in about 20 months. The last month alone has seen 30 mins wiped off them.
I went with the Varta A4 models bought from a Czech supplier called [Battex.cz](https://Battex.cz).
Yes, very true. The closest you get to 100% SoC, the more the battery degrades. The ideal SoC would be at around 50-60%. But 80% is also good. (My EV has its lowest limit at 80%).
Varta are a pretty decent brand of battery (although their consumer AAs suck), would not expect it from them.
Currently, a bit over 3 grand (labour included), at least for the Civic/Accord Hybrids.
Some of these OEM batteries they choose to use are shit.
Got a Varta battery and it only lasted 1.5 years. My car is parked under the sun on weekdays but was expecting more from the battery
