I got just over 7 years from the factory Varta battery in my old 2015 MK7. It was the smaller H4 size and always started flawlessly in the Canadian winter. It ended up failing in the early summer. It cranked rather slowly one morning and the voltage refused to go above 12.3, even after charging. It barely started when I went to get the new battery. I was lucky enough to not get stranded.
Got a Japanese one: Varta Automotive EFB Car Battery Q-85/115D23L 12v 70Ah 660A (EN) just over 1/2 the price of an Australian made Q-85. Got 6.5 years out of original from Japan 2019 using stop start most of the time.

Halt nur die Klassiker, alle 15j mal eine Batterie tauschen oder die wasserpumpe.

Hatte beide Marken schon. Aktuell auch eine Varta Blue EFD drinnen.
Spouse has a 2021 etron, (some issues, inc battery recall), I had a 2022 etron with many issues which prompted my change to a 2025 SQ6. I’ve written to Audi Canada so many times regarding the etron issues with no resolution on any of them. I like the SQ6 but this will be my last Audi - worst experience I’ve ever had with any vehicle and manufacturer.
It is a great car to drive.\n\nThe battery range is very, very poor. On a cold day the range may be in the 120 range. It is exp naive to maintain as most parts on it are coded which means Audi dealer only
