Battery Tesla or OEM BMW

I’m just over 10-years on my ‘15 M235i.

I got 12 years out of the original battery on my E90.

My e93 Battery Laster from 08 and I replaced it this year due to it started having Problems. It still kinda worked but I didnt want to have Problems. Still 17-18 years on a battery is bonkers

Changed my battery this year on my 2005 e46 coupe. There wasn’t a date for the old one, but 3 codes and for one (H1B582092) ChatGPT said that it’s 2005 battery, which just sounds insane if true.

I still have oem in my 3 series from 2015 !

After 3 years, my Tesla Model 3’s battery range dropped about 7 to 15 percent, which seems pretty typical based on what others report. It isn’t catastrophic, but it is definitely noticeable for anyone doing longer trips.

Not going to say yes or no,but get a battery check before buying it ???? Bmw warranty covers the battery up 6year or 100.000km,so no more battery warranty.. It has 6 modules to replace(not 1 battery) and last time i checked it was around 1000 per piece without labour. My 2020 330e with 98000km had this check and it was at 84% state of health,so this one might not be looking so great.. but get it checked anyway

Knowing what I know now I would. My 2021 was built in July 2021 and about a year ago my car bricked on me and wouldn\u2019t start. I had zero warning ahead of time.

people are saying no, but i 100% would. one of my model 3s warned me in advanced, but the other died with no warning in a parking lot. the battery is only $85 from tesla service if you install yourself, you can pickup without an appointment. i personally change mine every 2 1/2 years now because they die at 3 years for me
