Battery OPTIMA or OEM Hyundai

I ran a yellow top Optima in my Civic from 2009 up till this year. A hell of a run!

Optima battery. They handle the cold much better.

Unser Ioniq5 hat nach 4 Jahren und knapp 60.000€ immer noch einen SoH von 100%. Haben zwecks Weiterverkauf extra auslesen und dokumentieren lassen. Zudem gibt Hyundai 5 Jahre allgemeine Garantie und 8 Jahre Garantie auf den Akku. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf und mögen den IONiQ immer noch sehr.

A lot of people say the Optima is not a good battery anymore, but I continue to have good luck with them.

Mine on my previous car, a 2016 elantra lasted 8 years with huge winter temp drops up to -45 celcius

They battery they install is pretty good, other people around here need to change it after 5 years

I use an Optima Yellow Top battery and it made a big difference. The Yellow Top is honestly just good for the car in general.

I replaced the battery with an optima battery brand new I assume the high quality battery. If the battery was a problem would fix it but it did not and now I’m back to square one

I\u2019m driving a 2023 Tucson Limited. I don\u2019t find Hyundai to be an attentive manufacturer. The car had a dead battery at 7,000 miles (no explanation)

I remember buying a brand new Hyundai in 2016 and the car only turned on once. Then I called them and they said they installed a bad battery and changed it lol. It went on to only last 5 years.

Those Optima Red, Yellow and Blue tops used to be the cat's ass 20 years ago, but quality has fallen off big time in recent years
