Battery OPTIMA or OEM BMW

The OEM battery is AGM. If it was an OEM battery it wouldn't be lead acid, at least here in the US. Not sure what you're talking about. I installed mine three years ago and have had no issues despite winters that range from below 0 to summers that reach 100. Fahrenheit obviously.

OEM batteries are made from fairy dust. I still have my original one in my E92, made in 2007. Def recommend getting an OEM battery.

I use an Optima Yellow Top battery and it made a big difference. The Yellow Top is honestly just good for the car in general.

I replaced the battery with an optima battery brand new I assume the high quality battery. If the battery was a problem would fix it but it did not and now I’m back to square one

Pros: high quality battery
Cons: did not fix problem

my yellow top won't hold a charge after two winters in my project car. will never spend another dime with them
