I put that same Optima in 6 years ago (to the month!). Mines still fine knock on wood
Red optima battery on my 93 integra 10 yrs old still starts.
FWIW, my post is the top one, I did not go with an OEM battery after reading through other threads where users had issues finding one in stock and instead went with the Optima YellowTop that was recommended on their site. I have had zero issues.
I recently switched to an Optima Red Top 35 Series which has 720 CCA.
Optima is a great battery if you're running heavy-duty sound systems.
Optima is very good, Run them in all my cars. Hold their charge well in my chilly climate as well.
I have an optima, have had others, love them. The only issue I've ever had with an optima is getting a severely discharged battery to take a charge, but through youtube i figured out it was an issue with my charger and started putting another one in parallel.
When I worked at the auto parts store, we warrantied a lot of Optima’s. I’d be careful before dropping money for one.
I personally don't care for optima.
I killed two of those, never buying again.
