Battery OEM Hyundai or OEM BMW

BMWs are super good on batteries. They seem to last 9 years or more even in the midwest with extreme cold.

I got a full ten years on mine. 2012 F30 320d that i've had from new, now got 85k miles.

low miles 10 yr old vehicle means its possible it has the original BMW factory installed battery. Some of those can last 10 years, I had a 2013 bmw 3 series and in 2022, I finally changed the original battery.

The OEM battery is AGM. If it was an OEM battery it wouldn't be lead acid, at least here in the US. Not sure what you're talking about. I installed mine three years ago and have had no issues despite winters that range from below 0 to summers that reach 100. Fahrenheit obviously.

Unser Ioniq5 hat nach 4 Jahren und knapp 60.000€ immer noch einen SoH von 100%. Haben zwecks Weiterverkauf extra auslesen und dokumentieren lassen. Zudem gibt Hyundai 5 Jahre allgemeine Garantie und 8 Jahre Garantie auf den Akku. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf und mögen den IONiQ immer noch sehr.

OEM batteries are made from fairy dust. I still have my original one in my E92, made in 2007. Def recommend getting an OEM battery.

I also just had a new battery installed by BMW, $600 for the honor.

I remember buying a brand new Hyundai in 2016 and the car only turned on once. Then I called them and they said they installed a bad battery and changed it lol. It went on to only last 5 years.

I’m not satisfied with the range (70 miles) or the charging speed (max 19.2 kW via J-1772, taking 4 to 13 hours to charge) of the BMW batteries in my Lion Type C electric school bus.
