I have the DEKA ETX20L it started my car in 15 degree weather... I leave the car off for 3 days out of the week and it starts right up... I've been using it daily for quite a while... it has died on me a few times but it was my fault for leaving the fan on.. I just recharged it and it has been fine.

Pros: starts right up
Cons: died a few times

Actually the Deka's usually test out at almost double their rated CCA, but the big thing is the capacity. with such a small battery, yeah it may crank out enough CCA to turn you over in the winter, but it will only do it for a much shorter time than a conventional battery.

Pros: double their rated CCA
Cons: shorter time than conventional

I have the Deka ETX14 in my car. I've had no problems with it. It's the same as the braille only 100 bucks(or so) cheaper. I have a high compression 8v... but no stereo.

Pros: no problems
Part number: ETX14

The Dekas have all tested on par with the Braille. In fact the January Dekas tested at 435CCA (even though they're labeled as 200cca). If you buy a braille you're getting a great battery with a great warranty. If you buy a Deka, you're getting a great battery, an even better warranty (north america wide deka replacement at any deka dealer), and you're paying 1/3 the price.

Pros: great battery, better warranty
Cons: labeled as 200cca
