Absolutely yes! They are worth the investment, easy to spay cleaner, wash, put in a towel, spin it around, let air dry, respray oil, install. Have used K&N s on all my vehicles for years. Better performance, mpg.
I've been using one on my 2013 US version for a few years now. My freeway mpg seems to be a little better. I recommend oiling with the squeeze bottle instead of the pump or aerosol for better control as it doesn't require much. Too much can get into your sensors and cause problems.
I’ve got the K&N filter in my 2015 500 Abarth and it works perfectly, no CELs
I have one and it works perfectly. You wont get any more performance out of it really. Just better airflow to the turbo. That goes for any intake or filter upgrade. Its worth the $50 for the filter. Get the cleaning kit. Ive already washed it twice since getting it. So really it pays for itself within a few washes.
It is a bit of a pain to get in the first time. Its a little lose so it wants to fall out. Once its in. It swells to fit better. Then stays that way.
I've had mine for about 2+ years now, dropped a K&N air filter in it, uploaded a stage 3 tune from some dude he's in Florida somewhere also bought the K Tuner from him as well. This was after extensive YouTube research. My 2.0t is about .0134 seconds slower than a BMW M6 in the 1/4 mile. It's fast, very fast.
I'd just get some K&N air filter to get a bit more gas mileage and horsepower. This V8 is powerful already, in stock form.
I drank the Kool-Aid and bought the K&N filter kit 8 years ago for my 09 6cyl. Ive put on @ 100K miles while using that filter.I cant say Ive noticed any major improvement , on the other hand I haven’t had any issues from using it either. You will have to clean, dry and then re-oil the filter when its due. Not a huge deal, but adds more time to the job .
For the *engine* air filter, I ordered a K&N WASHABLE/REUSABLE AIR FILTER because I liked the idea of an \"Eco-Friendly\" alternative that can be washed and used for the life of the car. And it got excellent ratings online. So I was disappointed to discover this \"Eco-Friendly\" alternative comes with a Prop 65 warning
I tried it on my 2016.5 and it did not like it at all. Lost power, less torque. I came back to the paper one after one day
I bought a K&N Air Filter for both cabin and engine
they wear out and got dirty/worn down too soon so I replaced them with Wix Filters
