Ive used trail kings on my old 26 hardtail for many years. I think theyre actually pretty great. The black chili rubber coumpound is good, theyre such a nice blend of grip and rolling speed. They have held up and been pretty durable as well.

I have Bridgestone blizzaks on my Tacoma and on my ae86 in 14s. Haven't driven the 86 yet but I fucking love them on my truck.
Michelin X-Ice was my go to for my 14’s on my AW.
I usually go for Nankang SW-8, as they are really cheap for how good they feel.
Have dws06 on our s4. Great tire so far. Comfortable and quiet compared to the Michelin as4 they replaced
I got Michelin Defender 225/65R16 and they are great tires. Got them at discount tire and they are not cheap, but worth it IMO
Best AT's out there for snow that I've found is Firestone Destination XTs (exculding their AT2's due to your vehicle).
I would choose Michelin AS4s over the Contis if they're available and in your price range. They offer better MPG and ride comfort over the Contis while delivering more grip in the wet and dry. Just an all around better tire, but the Conti is still great albeit a little heavier than Michelin.
I bought KO2s because of the hype, 2 sets of them actually. And found them to be very mediocre in anything but dry dirt/rock. They have worn very well but on and offroad performance hasn't blown my hair back.
Only experience with OE Hancocks was on a VW Passat. Took delivery on new car and drove home from the dealer in a snow storm and it was the most severe case of white knuckle syndrome ever. The car was absolutely dangerous and scary.
