I am happy with my Continental Control Contact Sport SRS+ for $162 each. I only see dry weather so I can't commit to the rain or snow preference.

I have 21k miles on them and they are wearing well.

Pros: wearing well
Mileage: 33796 km

I bought a set of Bridgestone Weatherpeak tires from Costco for around $700. They're three peak snowflake rated and are quiet. They do well for me in the PNW.

Pros: quiet, do well

Continental Tires

I would get the Continental ECF if I was just doing track days and not competing for lap times. Sounds like they wear like iron and are very consistent. And they have symmetric tread, so you can “flip” them to equalize shoulder wear.

Pros: wear like iron, consistent

Falken Tires

Falken 615k+. My personal favorite. Lasts a whole weekend of enduro basically

They are super predicable, really great in the rain, wear like iron, and honestly they look cool.

I’ve never had a bad experience with them and I’ve gone through 100’s of them

Pros: super predictable, great in rain

Hankook Tires

Rs4s are the super long (ive done 24hrs on a set) lasting, heatcyle to death with almost all its tread left tyre of choice... But conti ecf last just as long and run at least 1.5s faster per lap (@ wgi).

Pros: super long lasting, heatcycle death
Cons: conti ecf faster

Hankook Tires

I do endurance racing as well and the sponsored tire is the Hankook Ventus RS-4. They are a great 200TW tire for traction and durability. If you abuse it they won’t last. They are directionally treaded, but if you run in the dry it won’t matter which direction you run them, so rotating doesn’t have to be an issue. Similar to the AR-1, good lifespan for the performance at the grip levels when compared to the competition.

Pros: great traction, good durability
Cons: won't last if abused

MICHELIN Tires

The Cross Climate are nosier than my Michelin X-ICE, a dedicated winter tire, and the efficiency is about the same. They are a great "year round" tire but you pay for it in efficiency loss and noise in Spring - Fall.

Pros: great year round tire
Cons: efficiency loss and noise

2022 Audi Q5. 25,000 miles and left rear had a broken belt and tread separation. Felt a vibration while going down the highway at 65mph. 1/4” separation about 1/3 of the way around the tire. Also with 25,000 tire wear sucked.

Cons: tire wear sucked
Vehicle: Audi Q5
Mileage: 25000 km

I had two cars that had pirellis, a VW GTI and. Corrado G60, I found them to be super stiff and prone to blowouts if I hit a pothole, hell it seemed like they’d blow if I saw a pothole! Pirelli got crossed off my list 25 years ago

Cons: super stiff, prone blowouts
Vehicle: Volkswagen
