I’ve seen the genuine Toyota belts go well over 100k before they give up. They were 60k belts years ago that would usually cross 100 and occasionally double the recommended interval before they broke.

Was für Qualität! Hat mir den Motor gerettet.
I just replaced the original timing belt in my 1995 Nissan Hard body this year. 30 years and 200k+ miles (don't know an exact number because the odometer hasn't worked since 2012).
It had some minor signs of cracking but would have easily made it another 5 years.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with a Gates timing belt.
La voiture de mon pote avait une courroie Dayco qui était en bon état à 65 000 + miles
I bet if they had used a Mitsuboshi timing belt in the first place it would have lasted much longer.
The only thing I concerned was the timing belt itself. It was a US made MITSOBOSHI instead of Japan made one. But it was perfect fit, didn’t miss timing even by 1 teeth.
As the title says, I changed my timing belt today. I replaced the timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley, serpentine belt, and serpentine belt tensioner. All replacement parts were OEM Volvo. There are two noteworthy cracks that go all the way across the belt and tiny cracks all over.
Nako hindi na ako bibili ng Volvo! Sirain pala mga timing belt nun.
I forced him to take it to my current indy Volvo garage and they gave him a huge lost of everything wrong with it, including a timing belt and fan belt. It had the distinctive whisp/chirp of worn belts.
