Get Dayco. They are made in Italy anyway and from the dayco "HT" material.
I have them in my 2v no issues

All I can say is that the belt in this picture is 1000x better and will probably last longer than any non Volvo OEM pieces of garbage you’d buy off the jungle sales app. Heck those might not even get you back home.
You can get a low k Hyundai Getz for that price. I paid 4500 for mine with 80,000km. Its been absolutely bulletproof, I've put 112,000km on it in just under 4 years.
Honda timing belt kit worked out nice and came with good instructions.
I used to be a Toyota parts guy, we used aisin kits for all our timing belt jobs on all the UZ V8s, all of them are the same layout.
AISIN TKT-021 kit has everything you need for timing belt/water pump. The water pump is driven by the timing belt, so always replace it when doing the belt.
After sending the car for service to change the timing belt, tensioner, and the water pump on my VW Fox 2014 (brazilian model, EA111 1.6 8V), I got this noise for the first 5min the car is on, then the motor heats up a little and its gone, no performance issues so far.
Do you have a gates timing belt kit on this? Usually gates makes a whine when revving and coming down in revs and at idle makes a funky sound
Bare in mind that this car uses a "wet belt" timing belt, where the timing belt runs inside the engine within the oil. This means that unless oil changes are carried out frequently, small parts of the belt break off and clock up the oil pickups, starving the engine and killing it.
Man i had some foo change my timing belt in my subaru and the timing belt broke less than a month after the warranty ended. So I had to get it done again. Super important thing to do with interference engine though
