Always used Bosch Premium once warranty was up. Anyway, tech said Bosch is his first choice for a good substitute and probably even better than Honda. I tend to agree.
Owner reviews for oil filter
OEM ford filter will be better then you will get at most oil changes spots and the same if you pay the dealership
When I did the change at home-used the motor craft filter FL190S and mobile 1 full synthetic for $35.00. Biggest pain at home is removing the panel under the chassis.
A good filter is $15 (I use Wix XP) and I get my full synthetic oil at Costco whenever it goes on sale for $3/qt.
I don't know about a lot of different oil filter manufacturers but a wix and Napa are the same and a good quality filter. Wix makes a lot of different brands and I think they are the best.
Sa oil filter? Pwede na sa Zic brand.
Mann aftermarket filters are OEM equivalent (they make the OEM filters for most Audis)
I went through the same thing, I believe the part number that they gave you is the made in Mexico Mazda value oil filter. It worked on my 2.5 NA. Though in my opinion, the quality of the filter is subpar compared to the OEM made in Thailand filters.
Ewww Fram filter…
The oil filter *would not* come off and just got crushed when I put a wrench on it. I ended up cutting it apart to use the oil passages to turn it, and when I cut it up I discovered that the oil filter was completely empty besides a small cardboard tube.\n\nThat filter looked like a FRAM, but instead of a filter had been filled with a roll of toilet paper.
