I have a '56 DeSoto FireDome sedan with the 330 hemi, 2 barrel carb backed by a Borg Warner 3 speed manual with overdrive on the column. But it all works together beautifully for the moment.
Owner reviews for manual transmission
Câmbio: 8/10 (muito bom pra tocada esportiva, mas para uso civil é MUITO curto, inviável para viagens longas)
Did a Vegas -> LA trip in the 350 in october and I wouldn’t take a different car if i had the chance to do it again.
The manual trans is very reliable.
I knew the DSG suited the Golf R better, but I got one with a manual because it will be the desirable one in 20 years
The 2.0 manual transmission will go forever. My 2002 2.0 manual made it to 297,000 before it was murdered by a F-250 who rear ended me.
Very common swap and very well documented. We did the swap on my husband's '01 Jetta TDI and it wasn't bad at all.
BMW manuals are mid.
I recently got to drive a 5 speed H3, and it was kind of cool! The manual felt pretty nice, but you really gotta give it some gas when releasing the clutch!
The handle like trash, the brakes are trash, huge amounts of chassis flex, the t56 manual transmission is pretty durable though. The interiors are absolute crap as well and not durable.
