I do recommend the manual transmission for the most fun, lower purchasing cost, lower maintenance cost, and ~10% better fuel economy.

ACTUALLY, they are hard to find in Auto. There were VERY few made with automatics. I've owned/been custodian( ) of two and really they aren't comparable to the Getrag 5spd.
