The longitudinal 1.8T's runs out of injector pretty quick so if you start pushing your current turbo you may need them anyway - hopefully you can log your injector duty cycles (or have already) to see where you're at.

Holy ****, they fit. FOUND IT. The injector that has been so elusive that flows more than stock (exact % will not be disclosed at this time as I do not want to upset any advertisers with my findings....) is from the GM 2.0 Ecotec motor: - GM LNF 2.0 ECOTEC OEM Injector Part # / Bosch Part # : 12636111 / 0 261 500 112.
I finished installing a rebuilt fuel injector and water pump in my truck yesterday. It was warm yesterday afternoon when I finished the job, and when I started the truck it ran fine and there was no smoke.

It's been a bit expensive to maintain compared to the other dub's i've owned though. at about 117k miles now, and since i replaced the PCV, DV, Coilpacks, Cam, HPFP, AC compressor, injectors and hand-picked the carbon deposits out, (all out of warranty and on my dime) it's been great!
I'm on my second fuel injector at 92,000 miles....i have a chip GIAC.....don't know if my stock injectors are getting worked O.T. but it is what it is i still enjoy my VW DUB.
Literally today my I was driving my Mk6 GTI and all of a sudden it felt horrific to drive, properly lumpy and then the EML and EPC light came on. Managed to limp it into a car park about 500m down the road. I read the code and had P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire.
Swapped the coil from cylinder 3 into cylinder 2 and cylinder 3 was still misfiring, indicating that it’s the injector at fault and not the coil.
He said it was a sticky injector as it was running like shit and loads of white smoke, indicating unburnt fuel, was coming out of the exhaust.
Up until a little over 45k miles, I was impressed that nothing had gone wrong. Then a little while back, it started to get a misfire. It was discovered that one of the fuel injectors needed to be replaced. That was a fairly expensive repair especially for a car with such low miles.
I took out the injectors and got a good look at them and they were gummed up, carbon caked and in horrendous shape, their spray patterns were like a straight stream. It was obvious at this point that they were the culprit.
