PENNZOIL Engine oil

  • Engine noise:
  • Exhaust smoke:
Rating 4.0

Switched to Pennzoil Platinum for my current car and the engine is noticeably quieter (doesn't have the same mild clattery-ness from the valvetrain like with Mobil 1), and it doesn't burn either

Pros: engine noticeably quieter
Cons: Mobil 1 clattery

LIQUI MOLY Engine oil

Liqui Moly Toptec 4100 5W-40 works if you feel like you need something thicker, but these diesels don't run crazy hot like gas + turbo engines.

Pros: something thicker

Kroon-Oil Engine oil

Personally I use for my 1.1 MPI panda Kroon Oil Asyntho 5W-30**.**

That one has allways worked really well for me and its practicly good in any basic engine.

Pros: worked really well

YACCO Engine oil
Bukiso
  • Exhaust smoke:
Rating 2.0

I opted for 10W-40 full synthetic oil (Yacco 1000 MVX 4T) and a slightly taller but compatible oil filter (HF204).

Post-change, I've encountered a couple of issues:

* **Reduced Power:** There is a noticeable loss of torque, particularly, the sixth gear feels slower than the fifth.

* **White Smoke:** White smoke is appearing from the motorcycle, but it's not emanating from the exhaust.

Cons: reduced power, white smoke
Vehicle: BMW
