I would not buy a GTI without the Performance Pack (i.e., this \"diff\"). It is good on paper, and every single review I have read makes it sound genius in the real world.
Have had two big stuff ups by ford dealerships. Recall on a Falcon XR8 something to do with diff. Drove 30m out of dealership and it dumped all its diff oil
Rear differential blew up after putting 30K miles on it and the dealership wants 5K for repairs
Open diff, WHY?!
