I had an 8th generation hybrid and it was smooth as butter. No shift shock from stepped gears just seamless acceleration.

The eCVT is much smoother.

Once he rebuilt the transmission he said it will work better than the original. Used the car for 20,000 miles like nothing happened then sold it.

all nissan cvt tranny cars should be gotten rid of fast. 135000 miles is a record for that expensive unit.
