I was just doing a bunch of reading and stumbled upon this "RSR" Kit from HS Tuning. It is supposed to feel much like stock VW clutch (with just a bit more bite) and have none of the chatter and such that heavy duty aftermarket clutches supposedly do (like SB clutches I hear).
Owner reviews for clutch disc
I've had great results w/ a clutchnet 2X PP, G60 FW and clutchnets VR disc.
But for the OP my clutchnet red pp and 6 puck sprung disk did about 5000 street miles 15 11 second passes and 5 10 second passes before it started to slip. and needed a new disk. Id suggest it. Drove almost like stock.
my currents mods on my 2.0L are: -16v Sach's pressure plate -16v Sach's clutch disc
i use to have vr6/G60 setup on my TDI running almost 500tq daily and it held for over 100k before starting to slip... and replacement disk were cheap..
I used a rebuilt clutch disc and had about the same thing happen. It wasn't a new Sachs disc and it wouldn't work because a part of it stuck out too far and it always rubbed on the pressure plate.
