Fix that, then replace with a reman Denso alternator from RockAuto.

Get the alternator tested. I have a 2013 Fit Sport 5spd and these symptoms happened to me. Pending your budget, try to avoid replacing with a rebuilt alternator. Get either the WAI or Mitsubishi (which is oem) ones as they'll last longer and more reliably.
What sort of alternator are you installing, because I've had two Chinese alternators fail but a genuine denso from pull a part has survived a good thrashing
I’d recommend going by a local Toyota dealer parts department and getting an OEM replacement. It’s more pricey than aftermarket but… it’ll last as long as the original Toyota alternator did.
I only trust OEM, Denso, Valero, and Hitachi. Bosch isn't too bad.
The Duralast one looks to have a lifetime warranty.
I have one. I replaced a Bosch with it. Hasn't had an issue and had a lifetime warranty.
I just had a new alternator put in 2 months ago (3k miles ago) at a different shop. Could all this be caused by a bad alternator?
It was in fact a Duralast dud! One more example of a “new” alternator being broken out of the box.
I had a new remanufactured duralast alternator as well that I thought was defective but I kept following the power cable off the alternator and found the fusible link.
