If you\u2019re looking for cheap, go with the new WAI alternator. With the new alternators, you don\u2019t have to worry about sending back a core either.

First time was with a reman alternator which starting acting up about 8 months in. The second was a new WAI one and that's been going strong for over a year.

Get the alternator tested. I have a 2013 Fit Sport 5spd and these symptoms happened to me. Pending your budget, try to avoid replacing with a rebuilt alternator. Get either the WAI or Mitsubishi (which is oem) ones as they'll last longer and more reliably.
