WALBRO Fuel pump

Walbro 400lph is what I ended up going with on my 76mm turbo car, with 60# injectors, was perfect for over 25k miles at 15psi making 750whp. I installed the Walbro in the stock bucket, modded.

Pros: perfect performance, high horsepower
Mileage: 25000 km

today i upgraded fuel pump to an intank Walbro 255LPH and tested with 100% e E85.. Its really strong now.. it would be really interesting to measure the WHP now... im a bit blind when it comes to hp... but the car really give you a ride i can tell you that.

Pros: strong performance, good power

when it was getting low, yes you can tell because it would misfire up high(just like my fuel cell). However there is absolutely nothing different on the casing, which holds the fuel level sending unit.

Pros: nothing different on casing
Cons: misfire up high

Fuel-pump... intank Walbro 255lph gave it all up today as well.. i knew this was gonna happen so i alway drive with one extra stock pump just in case.. been there b4.. I can now feel a bit diffret performance with th stock pump and this setup... Car runs more rough in the engine.. and jerks sometime.. i don't even think the stock pump is good to handle 100% 95 octane fuel.. i recommend over and over dimensioned when touching 300hp... on 95 octane... The inline walbro solution should be good.. as mentioned b4 in this forum.. I have an Bosch 044 in the garage that im gonna try in tank. Think the intank walbro runns fine with E85 if you run 150hp.. but with 300hp.. it have to work the as off to deliver E85.. with poor lubrication

Pros: fine for 150hp E85
Cons: failed at 300hp E85, poor lubrication
