On my 2005 P2 cars (XC70 and S60R), after multiple issues with aftermarket windshields and rain sensor problems, a Volvo windshield was installed. This resolved the issues, leading the location to change policy to only use Volvo windshields for Volvos.

OEM rubber floor mats are quite nice for soppy boots etc
2018 MY T8, bought at 50k km and now a little over 130k km on the clock. Relatively minor issues so far, biggest pain with air suspension (which is universally a problem in a cold climate), the Sensus UI is intuitive and works well (could be smoother, but not an issue).

Maintenance I do oil every 10k km including all filters except fuel filter (every 2nd oil change). Basically never burns any oil, didn’t have to fill up at all. Only alternator broke down in extreme heat at 150k km but that’s expected.
The XC40 is alright but it doesn't have the towing tech (it uses a semi-electric towbar while the competition use fully electric ones)

Nako hindi na ako bibili ng Volvo! Sirain pala mga timing belt nun.
I forced him to take it to my current indy Volvo garage and they gave him a huge lost of everything wrong with it, including a timing belt and fan belt. It had the distinctive whisp/chirp of worn belts.
the oil pressure light came on for a second. I checked the oil and it was very low (despite having recently checked it before a trip. I brought it to the dealer and they let me know about the piston ring TSB. If Volvo decided that your car burns too much oil, they replace the piston rings.
