Reviews of R1 Concepts brake pads

I originally had r1 concepts rotors and pads but the pads started to squeak like crazy at slow speeds. Rotors were still good so I put on akebono pads and they are perfect.

I just switched to R1 concepts Geomet pads, and drilled and slotted rotors. They're just as good as OEM from what I can tell.

R1 concepts were an upgrade on my 2nd gen and got me through 4 years of abuse because the OEM ones would brake fade terribly. On my Camry they only lasted a year.

I put a set of r1 concepts pads and rotors on my wrx that I daily got them off Amazon for like $250 and came in like 2 days had them on for around 7500 miles and haven't had any issues.

I have R1 concepts from Amazon, perfect for the car and stopping power.

After two years or so I get horrible squealing when I stop in reverse. Rusting is pretty bad too.

I havent had an issue with them in 2 years.

I used the R1 concepts drilled and slotted kit with pads. Front and rear total was like 500 bucks. Did it myself. They work great.

They seem good so far. I'm not very handy and I was able to put them on pretty easily.

Pros: they fit perfectly, offer great performance and are cool enough to work on immediately after driving. Con: they sent the brakes for the electric parking brake when I have the cable parking brake. They have been 0 help in providing the bracket to adapt it to the cable break.
