They are slightly better tho because the rotors are bigger, hence better stopping power but all that has already been discussed up top. I just want alittle quicker braking and nicer looking calipers.

i just got my waterpump replaced at 14,000 miles and it got rid of that annoying sound.
My 93 vw cabriolet is running an oem alternator from the factory.
I change my cabin filter every 20k or so. Otherwise it'll start to smell like feet/white chadder popcorn/eggs.
My B5 Passat was essentially the same car as a FWD A4. Had lots of trials and tribulations with that vehicle, but when I sold it with 110,000 miles, it looked and drove like new. I think I had a good example, but the only thing "major" I had go wrong was the control arm clunk, so I replaced all of those.
-fuel filter -fuel lines (ss braided are great)
I forgot to mention that the Corrado has had the oil and filter changed within the last 300 miles, the brake pads have plenty of pad life, and the tires are in decent shape.
The pump looks to be too beat up to keep. Even though I could maybe drimmel the bad spots down, I'm just going to get a fresh pump.
The cause is Sub-Standard, Cheap "Made in China" Rotors.
You know.... I thought I was immune to the brake issue on the Routan until about 3 hours ago. Was on the freeway and had to brake somewhat hard for traffic. And there it was.... very noticeable shake of warped front rotors. 9300 miles on it. I am super light on my brakes. Almost all of my driving is freeway driving. These rotors are clearly crap.
