I did some research before each purchase and tried to buy OEM- or OEM+-quality fluids and oils across the board. Motul RBF 600 Factory Line Dot-4 100 Percent Synthetic Racing Brake Fluid

General rule of thumb for mqb cars is if it\u2019s stock, run stock spec oil. If it\u2019s tuned run 5w40. Personally we run Motul 8100 xcess gen 2 5w40 in 3/4 cars.
I run Motul 10/30 in my motor, helps the piston slap on cold start from the forged pistons.
When I was researching MTF I found several experience that said the older Toyota transmissions get a little crunchy on the RedLine and I saw lots of good reports for Motul 300 75W-90 so I used that in mine earlier this year. It doesn't have issues but the shifting is ever so slightly smoother.
I'm using motul 5w40 8100 x clean and it's great on my m54b22. I'm loosing little to no oil between changes
Looks fine to me, oil is relatively cheap, forget all the mileage crap and change it sooner if you are uncomfortable with the way it looks. I change my oil every 2000 miles, or whenever I go on or do heavy riding. I also switched over to Motul 7100 simply because it’s red and I can see exactly when it starts to discolor. A motorcycle mechanic told me the number one reason for engine failure is dirty oil so I started changing it frequently.
I’ve got motul rbf600 in mine and it makes it a few months at a time so I don’t even worry about it now. If it feels fine it probably is fine
Motul Oil change kit on subimods, that’s it
I just use Kawasaki mineral oil or the Honda/Yamaha similar. Never had issues. Tried motul, liked the smell, same performance, more expensive, no point for me.
This sub loves to praise motul, but it caused me to foul up my spark plugs and have misfires. I tried both the 5W30 like the manual calls for and 5W40, but shortly after I changed to motul my plugs fouled up. I replaced them, they fouled up and misfired again. I tried it a third time cleaning the MAF sensor, checking if the plugs were torqued okay, checking the seal on the coil packs, etc... still fouled up. I finally guessed it was the motul and did an oil change away from motul and swapped the plugs again. 14k later no fouling.
