MOPAR Starter motor
Chruisser

Rating 5.0

I had the SAME issue and it drove me crazy for MONTHS. Its the starter. 1000%. I threw some parts at it but the starter fixed it. I went OEM Mopar and it was about $200.

Pros: starter fixed the issue
Cons: dealer was useless

MOPAR Radiator hose

The support clip comes already attached to the Mopar hose, just like the hose clamps, and definitely should not be breaking within a year.

Pros: support clip attached, durable
Vehicle: Jeep Grand Cherokee

You have to specifically call them and ask for OEM Mopar Glass. If not they will put some random aftermarket glass and you won’t have your challenger silhouette. It was a little pricey. I would have probably saved about $200 or so but I wanted my silhouette so I paid for it.

Pros: OEM Mopar Glass
Cons: little pricey
Vehicle: Dodge

MOPAR Thermostat
used-user001
  • Slow warm-up:
  • Overheating:
  • Cabin heat:
Rating 5.0

Finally got around to replacing the thermostat on my 2000 XJ. Temp rarely hit 210 unless I was idling for a while so I suspected a bad thermostat. Sure enough it was stuck in the open position. I was able to find an OEM one part # 5202 8186AC. 195 degree with a weephole. Noticeable difference in performance and it’s nice to have heat again.

Pros: improved performance, restored heat
Part number: 5202 8186AC

MOPAR Battery

I had the battery and MGU replaced under warranty already at 5k miles. I ended up purchasing an extended warranty through mopar that goes 8yrs and 90k miles for about $2,780-ish. It’s still a 5.7 hemi and city gas guzzler (15.7-17.2 mpg max). But on straight up highway I’ve gotten into the high 20’s in MPG.

Pros: high MPG on highway
Cons: city gas guzzler
Mileage: 5000 km
