MOPAR Oil filter

I've heard that the oil filter upgrade fixes all those problems. It adds 1 quart capacity and a drain back valve to hold oil in the cooler and the filter.

Pros: fixes all those problems

MOPAR Engine oil

My 3.6 JK has high mileage and I have had it since new. I pour exactly 6 quarts of oil in for each change. Screw the dipstick.

Yep, these are a known bitch to bleed out the air, as well as aftermarket thermostat's not working well after replacement. I have seen some go thru a few to get one that works.

Cons: thermostat not working well
Vehicle: Jeep

The thermostat failed twice. Once at like 80k miles and again at 115k miles. The second time it failed I replaced it with an aftermarket one that had a metal stem instead of plastic. It made it until we traded it in.

Pros: aftermarket lasted
Cons: failed twice, plastic stem
Vehicle: Jeep Renegade
Mileage: 80000 km

2020 Grand Cherokee. The ASS stopped working so I took it in and they said it was because the battery was dead. They replaced it under warranty. In less than a year the system stopped working again, I'm assuming the battery again. Looks like jeep's ASS DON'T work with Mopar batteries

Cons: system stopped working
Vehicle: Jeep Grand Cherokee
