I purchased aluminum valve covers because the plastic ones can warp and cause more leaks over time.

Paint flaking around the rear window and valve cover leaking. Usually in the back left in my experience.
I brought my 2017 eco boost in for an oil change at 50,000 miles and got it back a week later after they replaced a cracked valve cover, bad cam phasers and LEAKING HEAD GASKET.
