I'd just get something with a warranty. I've been using Duralast from Autozone for the longest time and haven't had too many issues

Pros: warranty, not many issues

Duralast Brake pads

I have the Dynamic Friction 5000 low metallic pads and they've been a nice improvement. Have no brake judder, better bite, and a bit more dusting from the pads (great tradeoff IMO).

Pros: nice improvement, better bite
Cons: more dusting

Duralast gold rotors and elite brake pads. Great price and performance. If they wear out too early - free replacement. If they wear out just fine - you got your money’s worth.

Pros: Great price, good performance

Duralast Brake discs

I've also got a Type R and Rock Auto does sell one-piece blanks for our cars. They're made by Dynamic Friction. I had a pair of two-piece Paragon front rotors that I bought used but sold them to keep consumables cost down. They did well on track. Haven't tracked the blanks yet, but am registered for an event in August.

Pros: good on track, cost effective
Vehicle: Honda Civic
Part number: 60459065 FRONT AND 60459067 REAR

Duralast Brake discs

The EBC Yellowstuff pads didn't last as long as the OE pads. The Alfa EBC rotors still are shipping with Gen1 "ThermicBlack" coating on them, which isn't as good as the Geomet/Geospec coating that EBC claims to now be using on new production parts. The EBC Gen1 coating rusts and looks like a pretty nasty rotor in just two years. I went with the EBC rotors in 2021 because I didn't want Chinese parts either, and the EBC items are made in the UK (and pads may be made in the USA).So when I did the rear brakes again this year (rear EBC YS pads shot in 23k miles), I went back to the OE Alfa rear pads. I ordered the EBC rotors, but when they showed up with the Gen1 coating that sucks, I returned them. And I ended up having to buy Dynamic Friction Geospec/Geomet coated rotors, which are made in China. The Dynamic Friction rotors were well packaged (much better than the EBCs). So far, they're completely fine after maybe 100 miles.

Pros: good packaging, fine performance
Cons: short lifespan, poor coating
Mileage: 23000 km

Duralast Drive belt

Over the past month i’ve replaced basically all my pulleys. Just now changed my harm balancer and put my 3rd Duralast belt on from this month. I turn the car on this morning, still squealing. What’s odd tho was that when i went to lunch, I almost stalled going in the road ????, but the jutter made the squealing stop. Going back to work, it was back. Also when cold it seems to be a lot more loud than driving. When cold, it’s audible even from idle, but after driving it’s just noticeable past 1.5k rpm. Should i try a better belt?

Cons: still squealing, loud when cold
