Today I replaced it with a Dayco thermostat, refilled the coolant, and bled the system. I noticed the following: the engine coolant reaches the normal operating temperature in stop-and-go traffic, but when I drive at higher speeds for a longer distance, the coolant temperature drops slightly but noticeably. This is even more apparent when the ventilation/fan is on.
