I changed the battery in my 2011 A5 with no issues, but i connected a jump pack to the terminals before I disconnected them. It maintained power to the car -- took the old battery out and put the new one in. No issues. Went with a Champion battery -- 4 year replacement....
We changed that spark plug and the customer was happy with the magneto drop. That spark plug worked fine on a Champion spark plug bomb test.
Champions quiet redesign of their plugs to match Tempest made up my mind. It matters, and Champion is just trying to save face.
My best regular car battery has been a Champion branded unit I picked up at Pep Boys almost 5 years ago when my PB store brand unit failed 34 months into it's 36month warranty . Still going strong!
I always run champion platinum in the coil rail 4.0s. Sometimes engines are particular.
I once had to use 99 cent Champion plugs in my car for a few months when I was flat broke. They worked fine but didn't last long.
Like everyone has mentioned just go back with an ac delco plug. I ran champions and had Mis fires, none of them were gapped right out of the box.
Sitting in -35 degrees wasn’t fun with a Champion radiator. Went back to OEM and replaced the thermostat. To any of you guys that have a All Aluminum rad, have you had an issue with not being able to reach operating temperature? I had a brutal drive home not being able to get any heat or defrost
Avoid Champions. Use NGK or Denso. Don't go cheap on plugs because the job is labour intensive.
Side note, Champion spark plugs suck. Use them in lawn mowers.
