All the parts are present and correct, but the branding on the expansion tank and hoses gives me pause - these are system-critical components, and I wouldn't trust anything other than BMW originals.

Id only recommend Genuine BMW for such a part.
I'd recommend only the original expansion tank. That tank usually outlasts all other aftermarket ones.
Just change my original 01 expansion tank, cause i changed my Radiator. Part held 170000km and 23 years. Just get another original one ;)
I've had the original one fail back in 2016, replaced with genuine BMW replacement and it's been good as gold.
The oem BMW expansion tank has the longest life. I've been thru several aftermarket Expansion tanks that crack much earlier than a Factory BMW brand.
I wound up buying an OEM expansion tank and I don’t regret spending the extra money, especially after seeing the fittings.
My experience of running my previous E46 325i (rare manual) echoes what some of the others are saying.
Cooling system components are flakey at best, especially the expansion tank.
