I have no issue with BFG and have g-Force Comp-2 on our Mustang and have been very happy with them
BF Goodrich tires have a compound that is oustanding in the snow, even their non-snow-specific tires are excellent in the snow, due to the compound.
I had BF Goodrich Advantage Control tires on my wife's car (2017 Hyundai Sonata). I just replaced them with the same tires as the previous tires had 59,000 miles on them & measured 4/32. Never any issues and the New tires give the car a great ride.
I replaced the factory Hankooks with BF Goodrich Trail Terrain T/A when it was time on my 2018 Pro 4X. They are good all around and not too expensive.
KO2’s. Hard to balance, super noisey, terrible in rain and killed my gas mileage. Front tire blew out the sidewall going down the highway at 75 mph. Am running Continental Contacts A/T now. They’re awesome.
BFG K/O2 is the worst tire I've used. Noisy and bad MPG, worse off road performance than a mud or HT tire, and winter performance is barely acceptable.
Long ago my first new set of tires were BFG Trail T/A in 33/12.50/15 for my old IH. With less than 5k miles sidewall deteriorated on one tire. Another on opposite corner broke or slipped a belt.
My worst were Bfg km2s. I have loved every Bfg tire I’ve had, but I got a set of km2s and got rid of them in 6 months. The wear life was bad, they were loud as hell, and they didn’t have a comfortable ride.
BF Goodrich KO2 was the worst for me on my Tacoma. Handled horribly in the snow, even with three 60 lb sandbags in the back, and never felt planted on wet roads.
Definitely a bit less grip in the dry than the 215 PS4s, but they're actually usable in the cold, solid in the wet, and at least passable in the snow. I'm not sure how much of the change in handling is down to the taller sidewall and narrower tire, and how much is the tire compound itself.
