i am very happy with my old man emu nitrocharger shocks and matched ARB coil and leaf springs. it's fantastic off-road but on-road the ride quality is unbelievable. My truck suddenly rides like a heavy Mercedes sedan where you find yourself driving 95 mph without noticing. The braking distance is shorter too.

ARB makes a nice Old Man Emu kit for Tacos. I paid $1300 shipped, it’s a 2” lift all around, gives you front struts (plus drivers side spacer for ‘taco lean’), rear leaf springs and shocks, and a carrier bearing drop. 5 years in and I have no issues, and it rides just as good as the factory suspension.
