Had a 40AE GTI for a year and recently traded in for a 20AE R. Loved the GTI, got to take it to a few track days and it held up very well to the abuse with just proper brake pads and tires
Got the APR 6-pots in the front, and now fabin' bits to sort out the APR 4-pots in the rear.
Our pads are what I would call an Advanced street pad. It's suitable for daily driving from dead cold with no warm up to 630 C (1166F). The pads will remain fade-free up to maximum operating temperature.
